Today, in most city centres, the streets are aseptic, glittering, trendy. Built specifically for shopping, and owned by brands that tell you how to dress, what to eat and what you need to do to feel good. Still, when I happen to be downtown in Rome, rather than getting overwhelmed by the goods displayed in the shop's windows, I just look up. To discover the unusual in the ephemeral of poetic dreams.
